SDGs: Kagawa University’s Telemedicine connects the world

Melody International, in collaboration with Kagawa University and the NPO e-HCIK (e-HCIK), has been awarded the “STI for SDGs” award.

The STI for SDGs Award is part of the Co-creation for the Future programme, which recognises outstanding local initiatives that use science, technology and innovation (STI) to solve social problems.

Our award, the President’s Award of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JSTA), is one of the two top prizes for outstanding scientific and technological initiatives.

We are delighted to be recognised as a project that embodies the spirit of the SDGs through science and technology.

Congratulations to Vice-President Tokuda of Kagawa University, who led the application process, and to Professor Hara of Kagawa University’s Setouchi Research Centre, who supported the project from a non-profit perspective.
